In the game, each player can take the following basic actions:

• Bet: To put chips into the pot to start the betting round.
• Call: To match the amount of the previous player's bet or raise.
• Raise: To increase the current betting amount.
• Check: To pass the action without betting, but only if no one else has bet before you in the current betting round. You remain in the hand.
• Fold: To give up your hand and forfeit your chance to win the current pot.

In Texas Hold'em, the game is about comparing hand rankings, not the suit of the cards. Aces are the highest card, and 2s are the lowest.

1. Royal Flush: A-K-Q-J-10, all of the same suit. This is the strongest possible hand.
2. Straight Flush: Five consecutive cards of the same suit.
3. Four of a Kind: Four cards of the same rank.
4. Full House: Three cards of one rank and two cards of another rank (three of a kind and a pair).
5. Flush: Five cards of the same suit, not in sequence.
6. Straight: Five consecutive cards of different suits.
7. Three of a Kind: Three cards of the same rank.
8. Two Pair: Two different pairs.
9. One Pair: Two cards of the same rank.
10. High Card: When a hand has none of the above combinations, the highest-ranking card determines the winner.

• Dealing Phase: Each player receives four hole cards.
• Pre-flop: The first betting round begins, starting with the player Under the Gun (UTG).
• Flop: Three community cards are dealt face-up, and the second betting round occurs.
• Turn: One more community card is dealt face-up, followed by the third betting round.
• River: The final community card is dealt face-up, leading to the fourth and final betting round.
• Showdown: If multiple players remain, they reveal their hands to determine the winner.

1. Straight Flush: Five cards of the same suit and in sequential order. The highest-ranking Straight Flush, from 10 to Ace, is also known as a Royal Flush.
2. Four of a Kind: Four cards of the same rank, accompanied by one kicker card.
3. Full House: A combination of three cards of one rank and two cards of another rank.
4. Flush: Five cards all of the same suit, but not in sequential order.
5. Straight: Five cards in sequential order, but not all of the same suit.
6. Three of a Kind: Three cards of the same rank, with two other unrelated cards.
7. Two Pair: Two separate pairs of cards with the same rank, plus one unrelated fifth card.
8. One Pair: A single pair of cards with the same rank, along with three other unrelated cards.
9. High Card: Five cards that do not form any of the combinations listed above. The hand's strength is determined by its highest-ranking card.

All five community cards (Flop + Turn + River) are dealt out immediately. There are no separate betting rounds for each street.

Each player then uses their hole cards combined with the community cards to form their best five-card poker hand.

The hand rankings are identical to traditional Texas Hold'em.

1. Straight Flush: Five cards in sequence, all of the same suit.
2. Four of a Kind: Four cards of the same rank.
3. Full House: Three cards of one rank and a pair of another.
4. Flush: Five cards of the same suit, not in sequence.
5. Straight: Five cards in sequence, different suits.
6. Three of a Kind: Three cards of the same rank.
7. Two Pair: Two separate pairs.
8. One Pair: One pair of cards with the same rank.
9. High Card: None of the above combinations — highest card wins.

1. Royal Flush: Five consecutive cards of the same suit, from Ten to Ace (T-J-Q-K-A).
2. Straight Flush: Five consecutive cards of the same suit.
3. Four of a Kind: Four cards of the same rank.
4. Flush: Five cards of the same suit (not consecutive).
5. Full House: Three cards of one rank and two cards of another rank.
6. Straight: Five consecutive cards of different suits. Remember, the smallest straight is A-6-7-8-9 (where the Ace acts as a 5).
7. Three of a Kind: Three cards of the same rank.
8. Two Pair: Two separate pairs of cards.
9. One Pair: Two cards of the same rank.
10. High Card: When no other hand combination can be made, the hand with the highest-ranking single card wins.

• The number of Squid Marks equals the number of players at the table minus one.
• Example: A 6-player table has 5 Squid Marks.
• Each player may hold only one Squid Mark.
• Settlement Conditions:
❶ When only one player remains without a Squid Mark, the current Squid Game round ends.
That player pays a 5BB Squid Penalty from their Security Deposit to each player holding a Squid Mark.
❷ If a player loses all of their chips and does not rebuy, the current Squid Game round ends.
That player pays a 5BB penalty from their Security Deposit to each remaining player.
If two or more players meet this condition simultaneously, the total penalty is divided equally among them.
❸ If any player leaves the table before Settlement Condition ❶ is met.
That player pays 5BB from their Security Deposit to each remaining player.
• Squid Reward = 5BB

1. Texas Hold'em uses a standard 52-card deck, and the deck is shuffled after every hand.
2. In the event of a disconnection, chips already committed to the pot remain valid.
3. During a Run It Multiple Times hand, the winner of the first board receives the Squid Mark.
4. No Squid Mark is awarded if the pot is split or if only a side pot is won.
5. PokerMars players acknowledge and accept the risks of disconnection caused by device issues, server connectivity, latency, lag, or network-related problems.

• No rake is charged if the hand ends before the flop.
• When there are three or fewer players at the table, the rake cap is reduced by 50%.

Each player's total score consists of base points and hand-type bonus points:

Base Points:

• Winning all three piles: +3 extra points.
• Compare each pile (Front, Middle, Back): Win +1, Lose -1, Tie 0.
• A player who busts earns no base points and is considered to have lost all three piles against non-busted players.

Hand-type Points:

• Completing specific hand types grants additional points (according to mode rules).

Final Result = Total Score × Ante

Texas Hold'em compares hand types, not suits. Ace is highest, 2 is lowest.

1. Royal Flush – A-K-Q-J-10 of the same suit, strongest hand
2. Straight Flush – five consecutive cards of the same suit
3. Four of a Kind – four cards of identical rank
4. Full House – three of a kind + one pair
5. Flush – five cards of the same suit, not in sequence
6. Straight – five consecutive cards of mixed suits
7. Three of a Kind – three cards of the same rank
8. Two Pair – two separate pairs
9. One Pair – two cards of identical rank
10. High Card – none of the above, highest card determines strength

Each player's position at the table affects action order and strategy. The standard clockwise seat names are:

• Small Blind (SB): The first seat to the left of the Dealer Button. Posts the Small Blind and acts first after the flop, making it a disadvantageous position.
• Big Blind (BB): Seated to the left of the Small Blind. Posts the Big Blind and acts last before the flop, sometimes allowing a free flop.
• Under the Gun (UTG): The first seat to the left of the Big Blind. It is the earliest position in a 6-max game and acts first pre-flop, requiring tighter starting hand selection.
• Hijack (HJ): Located to the left of UTG. A middle position that allows a wider opening range.
• Cutoff (CO): Seated immediately before the Button. A late position with strong opportunities for aggression and blind stealing.
• Button (BU / BTN): The dealer position. Acts last after the flop, providing the greatest informational advantage and the strongest position.

Each player keeps the same seat throughout a hand and may not change seats during play.

At the end of every hand, positions rotate clockwise (to the left).

A Dealer Button (BU) is typically used to indicate the dealer position. After each hand, the button moves clockwise to the next player, while players remain seated.

1. Each player receives the same starting stack after buying in.
2. Blind levels increase over time.
3. Players are eliminated once they lose all of their chips.
4. The last remaining player becomes the tournament champion.

• The Bubble is the stage where the remaining players are competing to reach the prize positions.

For example, if the payout structure rewards the top 10 finishers, the Bubble usually occurs when 11 or 12 players remain.

In most tournaments, only about 10%–25% of players finish In the Money (ITM), while the rest are eliminated without a payout.

The payout percentage depends on the prize structure. During the Bubble, players often adjust their strategy by playing either more cautiously or more aggressively to secure a payout.

• In the Money (ITM) refers to the finishing positions that receive prize money, typically the top 10%–25% of the field.

For example, if a tournament has 100 entrants and the payout percentage is 10%, only the top 10 players receive prize money. These positions are referred to as 'In the Money.'

Blind levels increase according to the tournament schedule to accelerate the pace of play and maintain game progression.

1. Blind Level: The Small Blind and Big Blind amounts for a specific level, for example, 100/200.
2. Level Duration: The length of time each blind level lasts, for example, blinds increase every 30 minutes. (Blind structures vary by tournament. Please refer to the tournament rules or blind structure chart.)
3. Big Blind Ante (BB Ante): The Big Blind player posts an additional ante equal to the Big Blind amount.
4. For example, 100/200/200 means the final 200 is the ante, so the Big Blind posts 200 + 200.

If the tournament allows re-entry, players may purchase a new starting stack within the designated re-entry period. Re-entry usually occurs after elimination.

• Stable Long-Term Profit: Maintains your EV (Expected Value) income even with short-term losses.
• Precise Bankroll Management: Prevents losing your entire stack due to a single bad beat or cooler.
• Zero-Risk Principal Protection: Receive your money in advance, eliminating the risk of the showdown.
• No Emotional Fluctuation: Reduces the frustration of losing despite having high equity.
